How to get approved for Disney DAS? ›

Guests have the option to discuss eligibility virtually with a Cast Member via live video chat as soon as 30 days in advance of a park visit. There is not an on-site option to request DAS registration, but it is possible to request registration on the day of visit.

A helpful feature allows registered DAS guests and their party members to make return time selections right in the My Disney Experience app. Once tapped into the park, a DAS button will appear in the app. You can access it by clicking on the bottom three lines and scrolling down the menu.

After entering a park, open the My Disney Experience mobile app and log in to your account. Tap on the menu ( ≡ ) at the bottom of the screen. Then, tap the DAS button to select the attraction to make your return time. The tool can also be accessed from attraction detail screens.

In terms of what to say to get a DAS pass, start by explaining why waiting in extended queues would be difficult for you. For example: “I experience ___________ which makes tolerating long lines difficult.” “When I'm in line for a long period of time, ___________ happens.”

Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of our programs offered at the Disneyland Resort theme parks intended to accommodate only Guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time.

While there is no specific list of what disabilities qualify for DAS at Disney World, some common conditions that may be approved for a DAS Pass include ADHD, autism, or anxiety. Guests should use their discretion when determining whether they should get a DAS Pass for themselves or a loved one.

Guests with any condition (including ADHD) that prevents them from waiting in extended lines can obtain one. While a DAS pass won't give you immediate access to a ride, you'll get a return time comparable to the ride's current wait time.

Another Disney fan is speaking out about being denied a Disability Access Service (DAS) pass under the theme park's recently updated guidelines.

It's for those invisible disabilities that are not easy for others to see. The wait time is comparable to the current attraction wait time. However, guests using DAS are free to wait elsewhere (in a more comfortable environment) or enjoy other park entertainment. Guests may only have one active return time at a time.

Almost every ride, show, or attraction that has a queue qualifies for DAS. This includes attractions that use Virtual Queues, although you'll still need to get a Boarding Group. One notable exception is some kinds of Meet & Greets (see below).

How many DAS selections at a time? ›

Once you have entered the park, you should be able to use the DAS feature in the My Disney Experience Mobile App to book one DAS selection at a time. We refer to it as a "rolling" DAS because once you have completed one attraction, you can make another DAS selection.

Others are happy because they think the DAS pass has been abused. The main change is that DAS passes will only be given to people with developmental disabilities like autism going forward. They won't apply for things like PTSD, mobility issues, diabetes, Chrohn's, IBS, etc.

Now only people with “developmental delays such as autism” will qualify for a DAS pass. Everyone else is expected to suck it up and stand/sit in line. I'm absolutely floored.
